Well, he was playing a character that was no more than maybe 18-19 at the beginning of ANH, so that line of thinking isn't too far off. I was thinking mid 50s myself, I didn't realize he was 25 years old when he filmed it. Yes, I know actors often play younger characters, but he looked young.
In other news, Harrison Ford is about 80!

it's a shame his career didn;t take off like Harrison Ford's... from what i've seen (i think SNL), Mark Hamill would have done great on some sketch shows (he has a gift for comedy)
