I've found the Wii shop channel to be the ultimate in late night impulse buying. I purchased Cave Story several days ago (which is amazing, I had never played the PC version.), and got Bit. Trip Runner when I saw that it had come out.
Anyone else an addict of Wii Shop Channel or PSN / X-box Marketplace? There's some horrendous stuff on there, but between the Classic titles and great Indie titles I think I play downloaded stuff about as much as new stuff on disc.
As for the games.....
I think Cave story may be the best thing I've ever purchased on there, including the virtual console titles.
Bit.Trip Runner is good addicting fun. Are the other ones in the series this good? If so, I may check them out. My girlfriend didn't even mind me ignoring her to play it as the music was so catchy.
