Lots of Trek references in NCIS tonight

No spoilers, but there were A LOT of Star Trek references in tonight’s episode of NCIS - All Hands. It was a fun watch!

It's not available on Paramount plus yet. Thanks for the heads up.

Edit: I just checked the episode description. I"m pretty sure they did a episode with similar plot- empty ship, bad guys nearby, years ago during the Ziva years...

Similar premise, but different story. I mean, after 400+ episodes you’re going to have to revisit some ideas from time to time.

Crazy. We're talking about "Trekkers vs. Trekkies" in another thread, and NCIS comes along and gives the first unironic pop culture reference I've ever heard to "Trekkers". By Gary Cole ("Matthew Gideon") himself, even.

They sure pushed the Stargazer thing. I'd have liked to see some references without the cast saying something about it though, unless I missed something. Besides, they could have had a scene with the SecNav, played by Denise Crosby....

The two nerds at the end of the episode talking about Voyager made me laugh, and Leon's declaration about his favorite series was unexpected and maybe a little out of character, but I had to check IMDB to see if Rocky Carroll had guest starred on the show at some point.

Check for connections as well. He may know or worked with someone associated with DS9.

Episodes are in production at the same time new eps are being aired.

The writers of NCIS may well be watching us in real time!
