So, as my Lost anticipation attained its annual fever pitch, I happened across a few actual scripts for some Season 1 and 2 episodes.

I've always been curious how all the complicated stuff in the show that doesn't happen in dialogue is portrayed on the page. So for that reason alone, these are really interesting.
What's also pretty cool about these are two things:
1) Some of these are drafts that are very close but not exactly like what ended up airing. For instance, one of the few I've had time to read is "Confidence Man" in which the "roles" Shannon and Boone had in the final episode (the asthma stuff) were filled by a couple of "meat socks." Early shades of Nikki and Paulo?
Also
2) There's a surprising amount of profanity in the stage directions.
This doesn't bother me, and in fact it makes sense because it actually does give a more visceral sense of the heavy stuff Lost deals with on a regular basis.
Anyway, I thought the script and a half I've read so far were really a really interesting look into the genesis of an episode of my favourite show.
Check it out and let's hear what you guys think!
