Lost Girl crossover you'd like to see?

Assembled18

Lieutenant Junior Grade
Red Shirt
Some of my picks:

Lost Girl/John Wick:
Succubus and Boogeyman team up. But I will love to see Anna Silk and Keanu Reeves (two greatest Canadian actors) onscreen for the first time. It'll takes place after John Wick Chapter 2, that Bo and her group protects Wick from all assassins coming after him. I can imagine if Kenzi will concern about his Baba Yaga name.

Lost Girl/Devil May Cry: Daughter of Hades, Bo and Son of Sparda, Dante teams up to take on powerful demons. Bo's Sexuality vs Dante's Humor. What if Dante will had a relationship with other Lost Girl characters like Tamsin, Dyson, Kenzi or Trick?

Lost Girl/Hellsing: Bo and Alucard will become more like frenemies or rivals but they'll team up to fight supernatural enemies and criminals. What if Bo's tantric or sexual powers could work on Alucard?

Never heard of it.

It's a cool little show. The best way to describe the show, and admittedly this is not a good way to describe the show, is it's like "Doctor Who" meets "Star Wars" meets "Skyrim" meets bits and pieces of sci-fi tropes except the realm isn't all big mountains and horse and buggies but anthropomorphizing of numerous Earth-based historical legends and myths, reinvented into something that's quite compelling and fresh and new. With characters that have great rapport with each other, Bo and Kenzi are one of TV's best double-acts ever. Now, there are no light sabers and there's a TON more depth, and not for one minute do any revelations seem like last minute crowd-pleasers thrown in.

The plots first got my interest, but as the episodes went on the characters quickly took over, yet often remained fresh with the storylines.

The main character is a Fae, who - as time goes by - is enticed to join up with either the Light Fae faction or the Dark Fae. She doesn't initially realize she is a Fae as she realizes she can't touch other people, but quickly learns to control them - and learns her powers can allow her to touch to calm people down, or choosing to absorb the life energy (which is what she unwittingly does at the start of the show as she realizes she ain't human)...

She has aspects of both Light and Dark, chooses to remain unaligned despite it all, but pretty much leans Lightward. And the Dark Fae - they can be quite vicious, rewarding success but punishing failure rather brutally. The Morrigan is an interesting leader of the Dark Fae, and Vex - despite his vicious streak - is easily one of the more entertaining characters, apart from the Bo/Kenzi dynamic.

It's serialized so I can't say "Go watch this and that and the other one". I was admittedly hooked after a few episodes, as the stories started to show influences from numerous sci-fi shows on top of lores and legends and myths.

The show is TV14 for sexuality, language, and plot content is going to go right over the heads of kids anyway.

6 seasons exist in total. I just started season 5 after a hiatus - it's got some promise, though season 2 is still the best so far with its setup and denouement. Season 4 felt rushed, which is unfortunate since there were moments where I felt it COULD have been better than season 2, but something feels like they had to cut the length from 20 episodes to 13 and a ton of narrative had to be squeezed - not entirely unlike Babylon 5's fate, I've yet to find out what was behind season 4... And season 3, which is rock solid, still couldn't top the heights of season 2. Season 1 isn't too bad but the more I got into the show the better it got. As far as season 1s tend to go for shows, Lost Girl is exceptional given the circumstances. Better than any Star Trek series, rather...

Acting by the main cast can vary, though you'll never see any duff performances out of Bo, Kenzi, and Dyson (Wolf). It is easy to see why the cast were chosen, the right look and feel - which is important - is the result and they don't always act like humans so they should be acting differently at times, anyway.

Definitely worth trying out. It did take me half of season 1, but I did get hooked - glad I rode it out!

Which any shows and movies that you want Lost Girl to crossover with?

BTW, this thread REALLY belongs in the SF/F forum!

For a more succinct description of the show: A bisexual Succubus (kinda like a vampire except she feeds on sexual energy) and her spunky human sidekick set up a paranormal private detective agency. I'd compare it to other modern-set fantasy shows like Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, & The Dresden Files.

I love Lost Girl. It's tough because I don't have a lot of friends who are fans of the show. They either (1) don't watch urban fantasy, (2) wouldn't like all of the sex on the show, or (3) started watching but then meandered away sometime after Season 2. And then the online fandom can be tricky since it's crawling with rabid Bo/Lauren 'shippers who will basically call you a homophobe if you prefer Bo/Dyson.

But I friggin' love the show! At least the 1st 3 seasons. The writing took a major nosedive in Seasons 4 & 5. I don't know why. But there's a zip & a fun & a freshness to the first couple seasons that few shows can match. One thing I like about it is that, while there are some overarching arcs, it still has a healthy dose of stand-alone cases, including the greatest body swapping episode ever! Mostly, what I love about the show is Kenzi, a human pickpocket and street grifter who inadvertently gets involved with the Fae world after a chance encounter with Bo. Most of the show's best bits are her one-liners, of which you can find a healthy dose here:

As to the original question about crossovers, I have a few in mind. I'd like to see Bo & Kenzi double-date the Winchester brothers from Supernatural. I'm pretty sure that Kenzi would have crossed paths with Felix from Orphan Black at some point. Because I'm a big fan of wacky best friends, I'd like to see Kenzi hangout with Maria from Roswell and Thelma from Hex. And when I saw the sarcastic, hard-drinking Valkyrie from Thor: Ragnarok, I kept thinking that she owed royalties to Lost Girl's Tamsin.

Speaking of Tamsin, most of her best bits are in this video:
