Lost dreams?!?

Temis the Vorta

Yep, I had another Lost dream last night. Can't recall too much of it, other than thinking, "Son of a BITCH! My insane theory about it all being an alien spaceship zoo was right along along!" :rommie:

And then the cat knocked something over and woke me up.

Any other recent dreams? Are they precognitive like mine?

I've had a number of Lost dreams over the years and my most recent one was a couple of weeks ago. I don't remember the details, but I remember the real Locke being rematerialized and he had a goatee. I also remember being glad that Locke was back.

When I saw the thread title I thought you were going to say you thought the SFs were the various characters' dreams.

I was going to say I had this theory. That these were dreams being put into their heads by MiB and when things are at a critical point he'd say "I can let you have that life if you just turn around and never look back" or some such.

I had a dream last night about owning an iPad, seriously, I was like doing things with it and playing with it in my dream, I guess that doesn't count though lol

I have strange dreams about it all the time. Often time it's just my regular dreams, but Sawyer or Locke or whoever will be there for no reason.

I have the occasional Lost dream...they nearly always start out as "me watching a new episode," but end as "I am now IN the Lost reality, and can only hope to make my way out, and understand everything." Of course, that never happens, and I always wake up with the vague feeling of "damn, if they did THAT, it'd all make sense!" Even as the dream fades, I know it made basically no sense at all.

I posted here to mention that yes, i have dreams after an episode where I go over it again and again.

Temis, i accidentally read your post but I haven't started season 6 yet! My fault, I know, but tell me how close (percentage wise) your alien zoo thing is to what's really happening. Or do I even want you to answer that??!? AAARrghh!!

i had a dream i was eating lunch with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse at Hurley's Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack, does that count?

About as close as my theory that the Island is actually under the South Pole. :D

If they really do do an alien spaceship ending, it will be one of the ahem more unexpected plot twists of all time. And will cause an internet-wide riot of unprecedented proportions.

Last week I had a strange LOST dream where Kate and Ben had had a relationship.

Even in my dreams Kate is running out of partners on the Island. ;)

I keep waiting to have a dream about Josh Holloway or Henry Ian Cusick. C'mon, subconcious, get to it!

Mrs. Alpinemaps had a dream a couple weeks ago where the Smoke Monster was chasing her down the stairs in our house, and at the bottom, caught her. She woke up, but was pretty convinced he was going to kill her.

I actually had a dream last night that Kirk and Spock were on the island with Locke and the whale probe was somehow involved.

I don't remember much beyond that, but I'll bet it was a kick-ass episode.

I don't remember my dreams generally, but a friend of mine said she dreamed Jack got super-powers and became the new Jacob "X-Men style" lol... :D

I must have eaten too much Dharma-brand ranch dressing because I had a Lost dream last night about how it ends! :rommie:

It turns out, the show doesn't end on TV. We have to buy a book to read the end. It's a very slim book, so that I managed to read the whole story just in my dream.

It was written as the memoir of a duke of some European country who visited a farm outside Chicago and described some kind of society in which there were "five counselors" who were very important. I can't recall much else about the story other than that it ended with the date on which the memoir was written:

[day, month] 1901

That's right, the five candidates end up in some bizarre cultish society on the prairie in 1901!

Other than that...the book had nice binding, a dark reddish leather. Nice layout, elegant typeface. And there were some appendix-type pages after the ending that I didn't bother to read. Maybe I'll get to those tonight. I think they included pictures!

I had another Lost dream last night. Locke was standing there on the island, probably around the barracks area, and there was a lot of fire around him. I was behind him a few feet away. He then caught fire and still continued to stand there as his body turned to ash and smoke. Then, whisps of smoke from his buring body just blended into the rest of the smoke that was around. It was like I was watching him turn into the smoke monster, but the process was mixed in with him being consumed by fire.

I had a dream last night that Jacob revealed Smokey's name as simply Bob. The way it was done was so brilliant, but that's dreams for ya.
