Looking for some image help (large)

I an putting together a banner for a website I am building for someone and using certain effects on this page:

Button Shape: Rectangular

Button Style: Glass Curved

Button Outline: Perspective

Outline thickness: 2


But the problem is my image is 1280x150 and the site only allows a max width of 800px.


Can anybody help?

you really need such enormous buttons???

If they only supply a maximum of 800px wide then that's what you must order, else take your business elsewhere.

You can resize the image up to 1280 px wide in almost any photo editing program.

Resizing it will distort the qaulity. It's not a button, but a banner using techniques on that page.

Then I guess you can use an editing program to extend the 800px image upto 1280px

- Create a 1280px box.

- Paste two copies of the 800px image staggered on different layers: one left justified and the other right justified.

- Use the eraser tool on the overlap to softly blend the two layers.

That's won't work with the Glas Curve effect I am trying to use; it will create a pair of bottom boobies.

Creating a Web banner that's 1280 pixels wide is an utterly horrible design decision if this Web site is to be viewed by common Internet end users, and I'm quite curious as to why you need such a thing.

Actually, it auto sizes for display sizes. I try to build my sites to where they work when in different screen sizes.
