Everyone is quite right about the forums. There's occasionally something useful to be gained from visiting them, but most of the posts there are whining, trolling, and keyloggers. Most of the complaints are specific to raiding, arena, and things like that. For instance, the way mage damage scales. It's not really an issue unless you're raiding T6 content. And where I was when I quit raiding, another mage and I were still often on top (we were both 40/0/21). I'd probably would have been in Sunwell before seeing anything really worth griping about with respect to damage scaling.
