So, every now and again I look around and try to see if there is anything going on in my neck of the woods. So far either there isn't, or I just can't find it. This got me thinking maybe it would be nice to have a stickied thread here were various people can either post looking for production groups, or production groups can post looking for people. Either way works I suppose. Would anyone be willing to have something like that here?

What kind of location do you seek? A group of modern buildings, a wooded area, or what? Maybe some of us here can offer some suggestions.

What I mean is say someone like me, who is interested in this sort of thing wants to find a group that does this sort of thing. For example I saw something in the paper last summer about "Trek in the Park" which talked about a group here in my town. Since then, try as I might, I can't seem to find them.

So I was thinking it might be helpful to have a thread about who does productions where. And about who would be interested in doing productions and where.

If you're anywhere near Seattle, a new group called Starship Phoenix will be showing its pilot at a convention there next weekend. :vulcan:

Here's the group's link: http://www.stphoenix.com/. If that's too far away, that adventure will be released nationwide on May 1. (Hope this helps.) :bolian:

Does anyone know of any Trek fan productions working out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada? Or nearby?

I suspect Canadians could make Trek too, but I could be wrong...

I believe the OP was suggesting having a thread that lists the locations of existing productions, and also productions looking for cast and crew. Therefore people can easily see if there is a suitable production near them.

Check out my fan film production map in Section 4 of my website. I will try to create a link here, but this library computer is... iffy.

It is not up to day... I hadn't updated it in a month or two when my computer went into a long-term coma (The manufacturer has it and keeps telling me two more days... it's been three weeks of two more days...) Anyway, the map is in the webpage entitled "(4)Overview of Fan Films" which is the fifth blog down (top being Headlines)
