Living Witness is a fantastic episode.

I think the episode was an exceptionally done commentary on historiography. And it was a clever plot twist to have the Doctor say he'll continue the lie, and for good reason. And was it my imagination, or were Tuvok's ears pointier? And was the Kazon supposed to be Torres?

Though either would be a good idea, given that everything was a little out of whack. Weird Tuvok ears and a Kazon B'Elanna would have fit right in.

If I recall correctly, this was one episode where Roxann Dawson was not seen at all and I think it was because she was on maternity leave.

They could have done so much with an evil B’lanna in the episode. Give her a team of Viidian enforcers or something.

But yeah, I think it was because she was on maternity leave or was about to have a baby.

^ She should have been portrayed as fully Klingon, with massively exaggerated ridges, at the very least. Perhaps bat' lething a 'warp core slave' here and there, taken prisoner from one of their conquered worlds, that didn't work hard enough.
