It's a pen that can record not only what you write (when you use special paper) but also what you hear as you write, and it time-synchs what you wrote with what you heard. By "tapping" what you've written on the paper, you can hear what was said as you were writing. Cool, huh? The Smartpen does a lot of other stuff, too.

After considering it for months, I bought a Smartpen last night at Target. I've played with it today, and I think it may be very useful during school lectures, business meetings, and even for doodling or writing for fun.
