From Anime News Network, seems that the Japanese are tired of waiting around for the US to make a live-action version of Yamato, so they've decided to do it on their own. This is probably a good idea, since the Disney version that was leaked about 10-or-so years ago renamed it to the "Arizona", which is so wrong on so many levels. Looking forward to this one, big-time!
