I've been learning Lithuanian on Livemocha, and just thought I'd share some of the phrases I just got down. Be you planning a trip to Lithuania or just interested in the language, I hope this helps:

Hello = Labas
Good Morning = Labas rytas
Good Afternoon = Laba diena
Good Evening = Labas vakaras

Goodnight = Labanakt
How are you? = Kaip tau sekasi?
I am good = Man sekasi gerai
I am not so good = Aš nekaip jaučiuosi.

I am great! = Aš nekaip jaučiuosi.
I am good. Thank you. And you? = Man sekasi gerai. Ačiū. O tau?
What is your name? = Koks tavo vardas?
My name is … = Mano vardas yra ...

Nice to meet you = Malonu susipažinti
Nice to meet you too = Man taip pat malonu susipažinti
Where are you from? = Iš kur tu?
I am from … = Aš esu iš ...

What do you do? = Ką tu veiki?
I am a student = Aš esu studentas(studentė).
I am a teacher = Aš esu mokytoja
Where do you live? = Kur tu gyveni?

Where is …? = Kur yra ...?
How old are you? = Kiek tau metų?
I am ... years old = Man ... metų.
Do you speak English? = Ar tu kalbi angliškai?

I only speak a little English = Aš tik truputį kalbu angliškai
I don't understand = Aš nesuprantu
Can you repeat that = Ar gali tai pakartoti
Can you speak more slowly? = Ar galite kalbėti lėčiau?

Can you help me? = Ar galite man padėti?
Yes = Taip
No = Ne
Please = Prašau

Thank you = Ačiū
You are welcome! = Prašom!
Excuse me = Atsiprašau
I am sorry = Aš atsiprašau

See you soon = Iki greito!
See you tomorrow = Iki rytojaus
Good bye = Viso gero
Have a nice day = Geros dienos
 
^ How is it spam? No real discussion value, but i wouldn't call it spam.

Been there a number of times. Although I dont speak the language beyond the absolute basic. At a brief glance, it seems accurate
 
^I've seen Mods label threads/posts with more content than that as spam.
 
Totally useless, at any rate, given I'd have no idea how to pronounce any of the above.
 
It's not Spam just because somebody isn't interested in it. Whether it generates discussion or not, a Topic about a foreign language-- or foreign languages in general-- is perfectly valid.

However, SaturnVengeance, I would like to point out that starting too many Threads in a short period of time can be considered Spamming. This is from our FAQ:

Spamming can even just be posting too much. As a general rule, don't post more than two or three threads in a forum within a reasonable length of time.
So please just try to keep an eye on how many Threads you start. :)
