List of the best ST: DSN episodes

Hi,

Can experts of Star Trek help me acquire a list of at least the best 25-30 episodes that Deep Space Nine has to offer?

I want to go through the best of the best without purchasing the entire series.

I can find a list of the best 10 episode here:

Good luck with this! I don't think you're going to get anything productive out of this thread.

For example, I personally love the Ferengi-centric episodes, but a lot of people hate them. You're better off sticking with generic lists and deciding for yourself.

My advice is just to watch the whole series from beginning to end. Overall, it should be rewarding!

I'm sure all of us can agree on ones like WOTW, Pale Moonlight etc being up there with the best. I'd have to take some time to think about my real top 10 or 20, but last night I watched The Darkness and the Light again and was reminded how much I like that one.

A list of best DS9 episodes is worthless because if you skip everything else the best eps will have much less context and meaning, so all you do is deprive yourself not only of many other good episodes, but also the impact the best eps should have.

I like how some weaker episodes have good "B" stories; in "Meridian" it is Quark trying to get an image of Kira for use in his holosuite; "The Muse" has a very touching wedding scene between Odo and Lwaxana.
