It is being reported that a live-action series based on the Jurassic Park franchise is in early development at Amblin. The executive producers of The Americans are said to serve as producers, alongside Spielberg and Trevorrow.

Assuming that this is true, I'm very interested to see what direction it will take. I'd love to have another good dinosaur series, they've been so rare in the past. But I'm not sure how to do it in this universe. It obviously can't be another park, so it will most likely be set after all the dinosaurs were released in the last movie. Perhaps the third film will end with the start of the dinosaur apocalypse and this follows the aftermath. Or maybe more creature-of-the-week with a team trying to capture all the escaped dinosaurs.

As long as the show leads to this, I’ll be happy.

Live-Action? What, the movies aren't live-action enough? Do they want to train real dinosaurs instead of having CGI?

We've done cloning of a human in "Fallen Kingdom". Let's jump the shark and introduce half-human half-dino sub species!

Wasn't that actually part of the plan at one point, or was that all one of those non-sense rumors that always pop up at one point.
I love the idea of a Jurrasic World series, I think the best way to do it would be to set it after the Fallen Kingdom and follow a group dealing with dinosaur related crises. I just have to wonder what kind of stories they'd be able to do at a park, there's only so many times you can have a dinosaur escape or have some competitor spying on them, or some other crises before you start getting repetitive. But if you set out in the wider world after the dinos have all gotten lose, you can do practically anything with them.

It was real, and it was awful:

This would seem to be the most likely direction. Fallen Kingdom ended with not only the dinosaurs being released but with unscrupulous companies all over the world now having the technology to create their own dinosaurs. That allows for a nearly endless supply of creatures and threats to fight against. Who knows? Maybe by the end, they'd go full kaiju.

Maybe they could even do an episode that either follows up on or expands on Battle At Big Rock.

That's really the kind of thing I would expect to see the show dealing with on a regular basis.

If I would compare my hypothetical show to any other show, it would be Primeval, just without the time portals or the secrecy.
