Lightwave 9 Help?

Rattrap

Commander
Red Shirt
I'm hoping that someone far more knowledgeable than me can help me with a Lightwave question. Before we start, "Switch to (fill in the blank)" is not a useful answer.

I recently switched from version 7.5 to 9.5, and since then, I've had problems with little hard white edges showing up, no matter how high I turn antialiasing. Does anyone recognize these and have a (likely) simple solution to getting rid of them?

What I'm talking about it the line running around the top edge of the secondary hull here:

It didn't do this in 7.5, but I can't get rid of it here. Any suggestions? I realize it's likely something that's just different in 9.5.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Looks to me like you've got a case of two-point polygons. You can either uncheck "Render Lines" in your Render Globals (though you probably don't want to, if you use single-point polys for stars or sparks, for instance), or you can clean up your mesh in Modeler (make sure you're in "polygon" selection mode, go into "Statistics" (hotkey "w" by default), and select and remove all the one- and two-point polygons).
