Oh I am - I really want to see where they take the US series beyond the scope of the BBC plots! Granted, they're slowly easing further away, but I have a feeling we're not quite there yet.
As for the episode, I thought it was a solid Above Average, but I still need to see Keitel settle into the role a bit more before I'm ready to go with an Excellent.

Crap...this was a new episode?? I thought it was a rerun based on the commercials I saw during Lost--it looked vaguely familiar so I didn't pay attention to it thinking it was still in the rerun loop.

Yup, new episode. It looks like they got rid of Hippy Girl though. Too bad.

Well, unless they're going for a weird love square, this new girl is probably going to replace the Hippy Girl as Sam's love interest.

I dunno. I suppose I could just see if the actress is scheduled to appear in any future episodes, but I'm too lazy to do that.
It just seems like with the introduction of this character, the other character is basically made redundant.

I'm still watching.
ABC decided (for whatever reason) to air this episode out of sequence. This is episode 9, and has nothing to do with the cliffhanger from November. Next week's show is episode 8, so hopefully it will answer the question on who's down in the basement.
For this episode, I gave it an "Above Average"..there were a few moments that I laughed out loud, especially when Sam discovers that he hooked up with the Gene's daughter. What a classic look..poor Sam. Some great music as usual, this episode had some songs that I haven't heard before since I was born in the late '70s.
Hope that this show stays..it's really the only show that I faithfully will remember to watch, and I haven't done that since Voyager on was t.v. Can't wait for next week's episode.
