Ray and Chris are shot by the leader of a gang of truck hijackers with whom Sam has been working undercover. When the primary suspect is found dead outside a neighborhood bar, the evidence points toward Sam as being the killer.

wow, that was weird. Frank Morgan *could* have known most of that stuff from reading Sam's psych file, but still...

I find myself hoping Sam gets to go home next week. I hope he hasn't abandoned it. I'd like to think there's more to this show than simply Sam dreaming the whole thing up - which doesn't appear possible anyway since we always see scenes without Sam in them! (Can't dream about stuff you're not in, right?)

I wonder what's the deal with Sam's hippie chick neighbor. She said that her ex cleaned out her apartment. Could this be on the level? I mean, if she's not real, then who made Sam that 'special' lasagna?

^ It'd be extremely flakey for her to leave a minute after Sam told her about the cops wanting to question her.

It was unfortunate the FBI guy was so obvious. Oh well.

So if Sam isn't willing to kill himself to return to the future, there's no way he'd consider killing himself to return to the past, right?

Re: Life on Mars: "Everyone Knows It's Windy" 3/25 - Grading & Discuss

What's interesting is that they recycled the ending from the unaired pilot and used it to hopefully set up an ending.
And, I guess I was wrong, Hippy Chick did come back.

Had the fed been on the level and pursued the writing sci fi part further, Sam could've easily pulled another "Ice Ice Baby" and told him all the stories he's been writing... like Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, The Terminator, The Matrix and Aliens. :)

The neighbor was back! I thought it was weird how she was there one minute, and then poof! gone the next. Maybe she is just apart of his imagine..or something like that. Happy to see that he didn't jump, and he didn't take Annie with him. Had a few chuckles throughout the episode, overall it was a great episode which I graded 'Above Average'. Looking forward to the finale next week..it looks good in the previews that they shown.

Why couldn't Greys Anatomy have gotten cancelled instead of this.

I was reminded a little of Total Recall, where the scientist and Sharon Stone try to convince Arnold's character that he's still dreaming.

Well, she *is* extremely flakey, isn't she? ;)

I just never considered that she might be an illusion. She made *food* for Sam, didn't she? Did he only imagine eating it? And that time that Sam was in his apartment and somebody slipped him a roofie or something, was that her? (No, never mind, it wasn't, it was Robert Klein's mobster character sending a girl to do it to him)

That's also how the first episode of the UK original ends, FYI.

I completely agree with you. Can't stand Grey's Anatomy and it's spin off show. There's enough sappy drama on t.v. as it's called day time soap operas (which I can't stand).

I do it all the time. When I was a very small child I had a dream that I remember to this day. I wasn't in it, nor anyone I knew; it was like watching a Twilight Zone episode.
