Let's go on a Vacation

Two Suns for a nice Tan..Pristene Beaches..Breath taking Vistas..
There have been SO many places mentioned in Trek which one could take a Vacation at.

Ok...I'll take the easy out here, and mention Risa. That's got to be a favorite of many.
I don't know how many times Ive herd "ya ought to go to....",
but...

Where would you go ?

Ten years ago, I would have liked to go to Wrigleys Pleaseure Planet, but I'm a bit knackered now.

Honestly, it depends what I'm interested in seeing/doing. If I want just a good time, probably Risa. There was a time when I would have said the Amusement Park Planet from Shore Leave, but with the advent of the holodeck, that's probably not as big a deal anymore.
If I want hostory and cultural fullfillment Bajor and Vulcan seem pretty interesting. For that matter, just to relax, Earth still has some of the most beautiful National Parks around.

The oceans of Pacifica sound interesting. So do the tidal waves of Balosnee VI. Basically, any destination where I have an excuse to be idle and not be pampered.

Warm blue waters and white Beaches sound good, but, there may be something to be had in a Hallucination !

I've herd of the Amusement Park Plnt, but does it have another (proper) name ?
Also I'm having a little trouble placing "Shore Leave", I don't think it was that an Episode from one of the Treks, was it ?

That was from TOS. The episode was called Shore Leave. They were on a planet where whatever they thought about happened. I don't remember if they gave a proper name of the planet.

Thanks, found it, but the only ref made was to "Pleasure Planet". The "Shore Leave" episode was TOS 1/15.
Is there some Site where one could find the original Script, and do a check for stuff like this ?

On another equally ambiguous note, in TNG, Dr. Crusher made a reference to a planet (and I'm sure I'm misspelling this) called "Tabillia Minor".
Did I hear that right, is there such a Plnt ?

For me Risa. Sun, ocean and company if you wish for it. Just have to make sure Worf isn't there.

I'd like these planets the best. I think Bajor would be better than Vulcan. I definitely wouldn't go to Risa.

Trouble with Vulcan is that it doesn't strike me as a human-friendly planet. Not only are the conditions harsh by human standards, but Vulcans appear to act cold of outsiders from what I've seen of the visits there in ENT and TOS, and I'm not sure I would want to take a vacation where I would be constantly frowned at with disapproval.

I'd be happy going into space, looking back at Earth, and flying out past Saturn and towards the nearest nebula to see it up close.

I always thought a Cruise Starship would be the coolest thing ever... I can imagine it starting at Earth, then going to Vulcan, Andor, Tellar, then over to Betazed, Risa, Trill, Pacifica and Bajor...

But if I had to choose one... I'd probably go to Bajor, cause then I'd have to stop over at DS9 first!

History is replete with VERY good ideas which have fallen, because Management forced the person that thought of it, to attempt to fulfill the idea, instead of assigning it to a qualified person.
There are times when creating work for others, is a good idea.
