Leonard Nimoy's screen time in ST XI?

Does anyone have an idea how big of a part Leonard Nimoy has in the new film?

I have heard reports that range from Mr. Nimoy having nothing but a glorified cameo in the film, to an older report over AICN that stated that they were surprised how much he was in the film and that he is in essence the star of the film.

With all the talk of the ship and the new actors taking on these iconic roles there has been relatively little talk of late as to Mr. Nimoy's role.

Does anyone have an idea how much screen time Mr. Nimoy has and if he plays a pivotal role in the film?

It's not the real Nimoy, but an actor who somewhat resembles him, but with somewhat different features. The casual fan likely won't notice, but those of us who know what the "true" Nimoy looks like will not be able to let such an affront go unnoticed and without rabid commentary. ;)

23 secs. You can see him in the background.

Just kidding.

I remember reports of filming indicated that Nimoy was on set a lot - more than would be indicated for a cameo. I imagine that the reports of the recent 4 clips gives the impression that his role is just a cameo - but remember there a re many many more scenes that have not been pre-screened. suspect Nimoy will have at least 4 or 5 substantial scenes.

This is pure speculation, but I imagine that the leaked Nimoy scene from the screening is the only meaningful interaction Old Spock has with the young TOS crew; I imagine he may have more scenes, but that they pertain to his time-travel and 'future' (TNG-era) activities, if indeed they exist at all.

Nimoy is only in it for the first half. Then he undergoes a transformation and Spock is then played by Frank Welker in the second half.

What's known:
-- Orci and the others have said Nimoy's Spock was crucial to their story. If Nimoy had turned them down, it would've been back to square one.
-- It's more than a cameo or "cameo time" on screen.
-- He apparently had scenes with each of the seven actors, including young Spock.

Everything beyond that is guessing.
