TOS: Chapel. Sorry, looks like I have to shove somebody out the airlock, or else Kirk might get picked, which seems even weaker to me. Chapel never really did much anyway.
TAS: Kyle. This is easy, because it's not really Kyle.
TNG: Yar. Yeah, I have to admit, she was worse than Pulaski. Such a shame though, because she had a nice *beep*.
DS9: Quark. An explanation is order. The writers caused Quark to develop into something warm and fuzzy, by suggesting that deep down he has a human conscience, that only needed human nurturing to bring out. Bullshit. To humans, Quark would always appear to be a psychopathic business shark. Always. I cringed every time Quark exhibited a human conscience. Quark should have been a perfect
antagonist, rather than a protagonist.
VOY: Tuvok. He rarely said anything truly insightful, he was often depicted as inept or barely functional, and was often the butt of a joke. Not a contrast to Spock, but nearly a parody. Out the airlock.
ENT: Reed. Someone observed that his character was the same as the Mirror Universe version. Ha, ha! That's not exactly true, but I can see the point, due to his constant glumness. He would have been much more interesting to me, if he had been a major in the Starfleet Marine Corps, which according to
Memory Alpha was an early conception. This would have been more realistic, and it would have especially created more of a clash of cultures in the main cast, leading to greater drama.
nuTrek: Chekov. I can do that! I can do that! And the actual transporter chief couldn't??? The boyish enthusiasm was so annoying!
