I'm sure this has been done before, but it's running hot in the Voyager Forum right now. So I thought I'd start one here for a little fun.
Rules of the Game: Each character will begin with a (5). Give (-1) to the character you wish to save, and (+1) for your least favorite character.
Once a character gets to (0), remove them from the Vote List and add them to the Saved List.
The round ends when only one character remaining on the Vote List; that character is moved to the Least Favorite Character list. Everyone else is moved back on to the Vote List and we start again.
The game continues until every character is listed from least favorite to favorite on the Least Favorite List (or until the end of time, whichever come first).
To Take a Turn:
1) Copy (don't quote) the text from the previous post.
2) Award your (-1) to characters you wish to save AND award (+1) to your least favorite.
3) Update the numbers and lists (if someone gets to zero) according to your awards.
After your turn: please allow at least two other players to take a turn, or 24 hours, before you play again (Obviously, I'll be doing the first 2 posts just to get it started).
*While it's not a rule, I find this game more fun (and expedient) when players aren't just trying to undo what the last person did. For the sake of keeping the game moving, I encourage everyone to try to avoid awarding characters who were just awarded something in the previous turn. Of course, this does not apply towards the end of a round when there is only a few choices left on the Vote List.
