Series 5, Episode 1: Survivor's Guilt
A drive-by shooting outside the Old Bailey leaves one police officer dead and another wounded in what appears to be an attack on a witness giving evidence in an attempted murder trial. But as Ronnie and the team investigate further, they are surprised to discover that the gunman was actually aiming for the police - believing his family to be victims of a cover-up. With the defence team arguing that their client has been the subject of institutional racism by the police, is the trial at risk of being derailed by a politically driven lawyer with an axe to grind? Wow, that means that BBC America got these episodes a couple of months before the UK did. We got "Survivor's Guilt" (which Wikipedia lists as the start of Series 6, not 5) back in September, and the whole 7-episode season has already concluded airing over here.

Yes, though at least some seem to be pretty substantially rewritten.

He's in the (unsuccessful) pilot of 17th Precinct if you want a Bamber fix. No idea when it's being released though.
