Law & Order: UK Is On BBCA On Friday Nights

Freema Agyeman and Battlestar Galactica's Jamie Bamber on the show, it airs on Friday night's at 9PM EST. I didn't realize they're on their second ep. but the first one airs right after the new one.

Looks like I shall have to wait for the DVDs again, as I don't get BBCAM...

I watched a couple episodes last night, not bad so far. But are they dubbing Bamber's lines or something? His voice sounds different from his normal speaking voice, or at least it does to me. Or is he using a different London-area accent for Devlin?

I heard that the PAL vs. NTSC issue means that the audio might be slightly distorted when US viewers watch the show (because of the difference in frame rates). The doink-doink noise is noticeably lower pitched, for example. And some of the people on the show sound like their voices are lower than they should be. Maybe that's the reason.

^I don't think it happens in reverse, but when NTSC is converted to PAL it speeds it up by 4%.
