I'm tuning in, though I'm not sure how long I'll stick around this season. The finale was so awful last year!

An interesting twist on a serial rapist.

But then again, after 8 years it has got to be difficult to find new kinds of rapists.

Big problem for me?

Luke Perry practically telegraphed his character as being the rapist from the moment he appeared.

Would that ever actually work? Trying to charge a rape as a hate crime?

And that crap about Elliot's kid stealing his credit card... :guffaw:

I forgot this was on at the same time as The Shield so I had to record the episode. I'll watch it tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'll have to do that every week.

A fairly meh episode. It was quite obvious Luke Perry's character was the rapist as soon as Sara Gilbert's character was formerly introduced. The whole clinical trials angle was a complete non-start, which seems to be SVU's favorite cliché these days. The rest of the episode was pretty predictable, although I expected Gilbert's character to fuck up her chances with her son by killing Perry's character and I'm glad I was wrong about that.

The Elliot/credit card side story was lame, the Fin/Elliot conflict still annoys me, and the new A.D.A. is horrible (both the actress and the writing).

The only two good things about the episode were Benson dealing with her trauma from "Undercover" and Munch ranting about partners quitting on him.

Yeah, I'm beginnig to feel that way as well. Last season was a huge mixed bag. Some episodes were fantastic, others were hideous. And while we got rid of Lake, Casey is also gone. :(
