This isn't really newsworthy, but it appears actor Wentworth Miller recently made the announcement . While most people would think "Who cares?!" there are others who applaud an LGBT celebrity's coming out, giving hope and inspiration to younger gay people, especially those victims of bullying.

It's amazing how for being someone who allegedly has nothing against gay people, you're always Johnny on the spot when it comes time to make the most negative assumptions about them possible or to defend someone who is being rabidly homophobic. He came out publicly because he was invited as guest of honour to a Russian film festival, the point was to draw attention to their atrocious laws. It was very thoughtful of him to out himself like that.
