Craig rarely spends time talking about the film or shows his guest are in/promoting. Mostly its him interacting with the guests and goofing around.

You obviously don't watch much of Craig Ferguson. This was pretty typical for his interview. And he ends each one with either an awkward pause or them playing his harmonica.
