last time I saw NEMESIS

It was flying into the distance at a great speed. You see, I was cleaning out my DVD booklet. I saw Nemesis, right next to Xanadu, and I thought "which DVD would fly the furthest?" NEMESIS or XANADU.

My son and I went out back. I threw Xanadu first, and then Nemesis. I have to say that Nemesis was the better movie. It flew pretty damn far, father than Xanadu. When it hit the edge of the canyon; it was gone. It was never seen again.

That was the last time I saw Nemesis. I can promise you this; I will never see it again. Unless I go to hell and get tortured.

The Romulan ship was cool though!

Wow, I think this is the first time a "Nemesis sucks lol" thread has ever been made. We need more topics like this that don't talk about the movie at all and just repeat that.

Because you've had to endure one thread per day since 2002...

There can never be too many "Nemesis sucks lol" threads. In fact, we should have an entire subforum devoted to bashing Nemesis.

LOL I'm glad he opened the thread. I'm laughing hysterically here at "Nemesis flying the furthest".

Reminded me of that guy that took a Windows Vista DVD and stuck it in the shredder.

The problem is that to TNG fans, the movie was an insult, and to the regular non Trek joe, the movie was boring.

It was an insult to the cast too. Stuart Baird kept calling LeVar Burton "Laverne".

How many movie villains wear cushy, bumpy shoulder pads? The aerodynamics have gotta be good for an extra dozen feet or so on the throw.

This reminds me of that scene in "Shaun of the Dead" where they take their records out into the backyard and the "Batman" soundtrack gets buggered. I wonder if that would work with DVDs...

I read about that. Is it possible that the depressing feel of the movie has to do with the actors feeling pushed around by this idiot director?

I too thought the costume was pretty wacky. I usually forgive the costuming because I know it's not easy to come up with ideas on how an Alien culture might dress.
However, they were trying to give Tom Hardy an imposing feel with that costume, and it's not believable because he doesn't look like he could punch his way out of a paper bag.
