The Vidians were indeed nicely creepy. A shame VOYAGER didn't do more with them.

TNG-The Last Outpost. TNG's first encounter with the Ferengi. The Enterprise chases down a Ferengi ship for stealing an energy converter while a mysterious planet, home of the last Tkon portal, holds both the Enterprise and the Ferengi in a paralyzing energy field. Early first season hokeyness abounds but I found this episode very entertaining. Loved Data's chinese finger puzzle gag.

^^ You'd think with all of Data's amazing abilities, one of them would be wireless networking. He could have simply interfaced wirelessly with the ship's computer and FedGoogled 'Chinese finger puzzles" and learned how to get out of one.
DS9 "The Collaborator" on H&I. Meh.

I have always really liked this one. Blalock really shines for the first time, and Archer seemed ready for getting beat up, for once.

These Are The Voyages (ENT Blu-ray). At least it mentions a city (Mobile) in my home state.

TNG-Where No One Has Gone Before. Warp engine tests hurl the Enterprise into the outer reaches of the galaxy where thought becomes reality. There's a lot to enjoy about this episode. It really captures the awe and wonder of exploring the unknown and experiencing the unforeseeable.

Low-key to the point of boring, and one of the very worst Kirk-romances. It's so hard to believe his over-the-top love for Rayna that the intended power of the ending falls completely flat. There's some elegant dialogue though.

I wonder what the reasoning was behind the dark skin makeup for T'Pring. Arlene Martel was as pale white as can be on "Hogan's Heroes". Not to mention blonde. And French. (and Human?)
Fortunately for Kirk that Spock didn't accidentally hack something off.

    ENT - Observer effect.

A come down of sorts, after the Xindi season, the Nazi Aliens, the excellent Home, successive trilogies involving Augments then Vulcan ideology it was time for a break.

A so so sort of episode.

I like "Observer Effect", but the aliens really didn't need to be the Organians.

A shining example of the Cardassian justice system's perfect record. "Kill everyone we arrest".
    ENT "Unexpected"
Great; these goofy little aliens have holodeck tech that closely resembles that of 24th Century Starfleet.
If the males are the ones to get pregnant and develop nipples for nursing. Then why does Ah'Len clearly have breasts of the same type and location that Humans do?
Plus, wouldn't the impregnation ability technically make her a male?
