Just had a bit of a TNG rewatch binge: "Tin Man", "I, Borg", "Ship in a Bottle", and "The Chase". "I, Borg" was by far and away my favourite - a thought-provoking theme, some great acting all around, and Jonathan Del Arco is just the cutest, most endearing Borg I ever did see. Well, the only one, really...

    Star Trek night on H&I:
    TOS "Naked Time"
"Take d'Artagnan here to Sickbay." Who says Spock's not funny.
"Sorry, neither." From Uhura. One of the best lines of the entire franchise.
    TNG "Yesterday's Enterprise"
They claim that the Enterprise-C's warp drive is out but the external evidence indicates it's functioning normally. They couldn't just turn off the lights in the nacelles?
    DS9 "Through the Looking Glass"
Another MU episode. Jennifer Sisko's hair looks surprisingly wiglike.

Most of the time when I'm watching episodes I've completely forgotten, they're fun rediscoveries. Sometimes, I just learn they are forgotten episodes for good reason. This was the latter.

"That Which Survives" and was very surprised that I hadn't seen it yet. I thought I'd caught the couple I was missing when I watched all the remasted episodes as they were released a few years ago.

Probably the best episode of Trek.

They treat Lal like she's property even after it's been established twice previously that Soong-type sentient androids (specifically Data) have the full rights as other sentient humanoids.
Then there's the bit about Lal being able to use contractions such as "I've" when Data can not. Then not two minutes later when speaking to Picard, Data says "I've". Oops.
They could have at least dressed and given a different hairstyle to Lal like she didn't belong to one of those sister-wives cults.

Yes, I agree with you. Lal could've been an asset to TNG. Just think of the fun she & Data could've had working as Father & daughter on the Enterprise. She obviously was accepted by the crew and Capt. Picard. She wasn't just an android - "I think therefore, I am". She was just as real as Data and even (maybe) better.

'First Contact' Season 4 of TNG

In January I started re-watching Star Trek, started with TOS, TAS and am now on Season 4 of TNG. Going to watch every episode of every series, hopefully finish it all by the end of this year.

It might be just me. But I wouldn't take a big huge pill that had flashing lights in it.
I always thought it odd that after all of the wrangling to get the crystals. Kirk leaves Childress' quarters empty handed at the end. Even after Childress says the crystals are here.
I guess they hadn't yet figured out that the fusion powered impulse engines would work perfectly fine without the crystals. Oh well.
