So this week Tim Allen (of Home Improvement and Santa Clause fame) returns to TV with a new show.
He plays a father in an all female (but for one toddler son) household who works in an outdoor store and is a real "guy's guy".
He has to survive each a tomboy, glamour and teenage mom daughter while wrestling with the notion that men and life has gone too soft these days.
Now having seen the first two episodes it isn't bad.. for someone who liked Home Improvement as basically he's the same character just without the accident magnet that Tim Taylor was.
He's still this man's man constantly fighting for men to remain "real men" and going on diatribes when he encounters some new age stuff he seems to abhor yet at the core he's a good, understanding and loving father and husband.
The show isn't breaking new ground but it's nice to see Tim Allen again basically reprising the role that made him famous (if with a few tweaks here and there).
