When is Guy expected to show up?

I seem to have read that Fillion was contracted for 5 episodes so i was expecting Guy to show up this episode but that didn't happen. It'll happen, we know this for a fact, and i'm sure these scenes will be great by revealing how and why Guy is the current Earth Lantern and what happened with Stewart but i have a feeling it'll be late in the show as another key piece that will lead into the next Superman movie.

If you look carefully, the darkness gun guys are wearing the same glasses (I think) we see Hal wear in a later episode clip.

Is the poor, unfortunate white lady merely posing as a Guardian? She deliberately tries to manipulate John against Hal and the portal technology used to send John to the budget saving empty shopping mall is also used to lead a cow to the slaughter in this episode. Deliberate imagery? Is she really the Manhunter?

And what was the point of the JD Vance nude drawing scene again?

He wanted John to draw him like one of his french girls?

I have yet to watch any of this. Not having HBOMAX subscription I thought I might join during holiday weekend. Too much going on now. Sounds like I will get more satisfying experience to binge whole thing at the end anyways.

Can't argue with that. Every week I'm almost shaking my fists at the screen shouting that I want to know more.
What really sucks though is that the streaming service I'm currently subscribed to is losing all it's HBO content from September 30th, including Lanterns. Which means I will probably have to subscribe to another service just for the final episode.

It's one of the fan theories regarding Guardian lady, we will find out i'm sure if there is something more shady going on than what's at display.

The nude posing is simply a power play(display by Macon - stripping down to the bare essentials yet 2 Lanterns ( well, one and a half) couldn't do anything about it and he could have them killed at any point. Plus he's simply weird.

Hold on. I thought the end of the episode was that Zoe was the Manhunter? Nothing to say that she couldn't also be the Guardian lady as the two characters are trying to push John in the same direction. Also, that might mean that John's father was never selected for the ring and it was the Manhunter all along. It also means that the Manhunter is somehow in possession of a second ring that they can't use themselves and why the tech at the slaughterhouse is the same as the Guardian tech.

We also know from the first episode that Hal has been searching for aliens on Earth and is keeping some important information to himself...and it took him a long time to learn to trust John. The question there is what is Hal keeping to himself?

Hector Hammond: I'm going to assume that there is a real Hammond around and the name wasn't just a front for the company. The question is will that Hammond fit into the story in some way?

Maybe the "Crystal Heart" is some shit Hal just made up, but the real tell, is something you can figure out from letting a dude disrobe?

Probably not, but this is info from Sinestro and you have to rip someone's heart out to check - so what if Guardians do that rather than Manhunters?

This is not information from Sinestro.

"I know a secret way of identifying man hunters!" (fade to black)

Sinestro could have said anything, that may even be the truth.

"Manhunters can't do junk. They think it's gross."

It occurs to me that Sinestro's cell just has one of those force-field doors - does that mean Hal can turn up and Sinestro is on his throne?

Are you afraid?

If Manhunters were invented by the Guardians, and their origin is similar to the comics... They used to have identical powers to the Lanterns when they worked for the Guardians, except that they had "pistols" that plugged into their Lanterns to recharge, not rings.

The Manhunter Killed Abin Sur and then his ring sought out a replacement seconds later. Obviously John Snr is vague on the time line because he "can't" nail down that his failed recruitment didn't happen months or weeks after Hal got the Ring for real.

It is similar to my theory that the entire Stewart family might have been played from the start, a long con if you will though it doesn't mesh completely with the timeline if the Manhunter arrived with Abin Sur because that happened a good while after John was born.

I still have doubts that Guardian Lady is an actual Guardian, things she does and says don't add up in my book ( are Guardians in the books such huge assholes too) because why would she/it/they push so hard to have Hal removed when they control the entire Corps and Tech and could simply fire him for insubordination or something like it. I doubt Corps morale is such a major consideration to keep Hal if he's popular for bringing in Sinestro.

All i'm dead certain is that nothing is as it appears on the surface, there's too many hidden agendas floating around and nobody is telling the whole truth to anybody.

In the comics, before the introduction of the Manhunters, Green Lantern encounters Aliens who predate the Corps and use pistols and Lanterns. He takes them to OA for retraining at the end of the story and they are never seen again (they get a cameo in the first apperance of the Manhunters).
