KRAD's Pitch/Moments...

Having finished ANDY WILLIAM's memoir, I have now started KRAD's Enterprises of Great Pitch and Moments. I won't 'spoil' what I have read thus far (I am up to page 14!) but I really like how you set the 'mood' of Picard, in regards to meeting the President...I felt the same thing years ago when I almost got to be the President of United States while I was still in the military..instead, we got to meet Dan Quayle...so I know Picard's let down!!!!

And it's actually Pitch and Moment, not "moments." "Moment" in this sense means importance or consequence (as in "a momentous occasion"). And the original line from Hamlet's soliloquy is usually rendered as "great pith and moment," though it is sometimes "pitch" and KRAD chose to go with that version for his title. (Although I don't see how "pitch" can be correct, since I can't find any definition of that word that really works in the context of the phrase.)

As compared to, say, the DC/Malibu comic book crossover where their relationship was pretty much "Anything you can do, I can do better; I can do anything better than you."
