No kidding. I checked the local listings and it stated it's a new episode. Weird, since the last episode broadcast announced it would return in January. Oh well.I guess you thought wrong.

This was noted as the newest episode this morning on TV.com. Unless I misread or was seeing soem wacky old cache file rather than the newest version of the page.
As for it returning in January. It's December 31, I'd say we're "January enough."

Maybe maybe not. With the way the economy is right now it's been said that far more people are staying home and here we have a show that is all new.
But it's certainly a risk and maybe even doesn't show much confidence in the show from NBC and they're just trying to burn off the remainder of it.

I showed my brother the pic of KARR when I was home for Christmas, and he had pretty much the same reaction you guys did: "Woah, a rejected Decepticon?"

Catching up with it now. That was a really good episode, maybe the best yet, the science is still suspect (to be kind) but the pacing, action, even the music was great. That opening action sequence teaser was pretty cool for a TV show. It's too bad with the news that they're canning the extra cast since I thought it seemed like they finally figured out how to make them work, even Sydney Poitier (her father was cruel naming her) seemed decent.
Have we seen that plasma cannon and missiles before? I don't remember that much firepower.

Fun episode. It was better than I expected considering this ep was an earlier one that kept getting shifted over in the slots. I really enjoy the development of KITT's personality and his fear of dying was well done. The science was hokey, but it's hardly anything that hasn't been seen in other scifi shows so I wasn't too taken aback by it.
I gave this episode a "BAD". I still hope that in every episode that Billy and/or Zoey will die. Torres reminds me of Chakotay from ST: Voyager (wooden, wooden, and more wooden) and that female FBI agent is useless too. This show seriously sucks because the car's AI does everything and the driver doesn't do anything. I'm still amazed that despite the so-called top-speed this car can achieve, it takes forever to catch up to "the bad guys"
Also, these countdown timers to self-destruct that are aborted at 00:00:01 is so effing old it's not funny. Yeah, I was in such suspense and worried they'd all die
As for KARR -- I'll watch because this show is like a train wreck: I don't want to look yet I can't turn away.

Well back when Transformers was announced I remember a lot of complaints that the Transformers looked too Terminatorish.
I can see the transformer in KARR though. He has wheels on his legs!

To be fair I've worked with a lot of military leaders and government bureaucrats and, truthfully that is how they all act.
You do know that the show was cancelled, right?
