Klingon war (spoilers, speculation)

Didn't the Klingons declare war on the Federation? Admiral Robocop thought that it was inevitable due to Kirk's actions. If not, why not? Thanks.

It was a year between the Kronos incident and the end of the movie. If the Klingons hadn't started a war in that time, the incident was likely taken care of through backdoor diplomatic channels.

Would the Kronos incident be enough to start a war?

A couple of Starfleet officers (but did the Klingon's know they were Starfleet?) skirmished with a couple of Klingon squads in a backwater province. After the shootout, no Klingons were spotted again. Did the incident even register with the High Council?

Maybe in this timeline Kirk will be deployed to Organia again, and "Errand of Mercy" will play out on the big screen. That could make a good movie - some guerrilla warfare against the Klingon troops, a decent battle between Enterprise and a Klingon warship, and the big reveal of the Organians being pissed off by the rowdy kids roughhousing on their lawn.

The Klingons have indeed just declared war on the Federation and are declaring Kirk as the one responsible.

Any Klingon war will be showcased in the ST13's teaser. That's about it.

The "Khan" incident was not the Ferdinand scenario some make it out to be.

I'm kinda all "warred" out. If we get an animated series, I definitely want to see Kirk and Company exploring space.

Sure. They could have exploration episodes throughout the season.
Then again I wouldn't mind seeing just a Star Trek: The 5 Year Mission with no Klingon war either.

There's another comic book's validity that will be decimated upon the release of the next movie.

Who knows? Maybe they sent Kirk away on a 5 year mission to get him out of the spotlight for awhile so maybe by the time he gets back they'll have stopped grumbling over him.
