I wanted to offer to the community a memorial video, presented by what I think is one of the best contributors to Star Trek fandom currently producing. This Video I found so comforting and respectfiul .. it speaks for itself.

The opening film music still sends chills, and the segue to that piano track is quite good. Good clips of Saavik...

I staunchly disagreed with her political and social views, and even though I do my best to separate art from artist, it was difficult considering some of her positions. That said:

I loved her as Saavik in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
I loved her as Rebecca in Cheers.
I loved her as Gladys Leeman in Drop Dead Gorgeous.

    May she rest in peace.

She was my favorite version of Saavik and I maybe even had a slight crush on her as a kid from TWOK. I wish she returned for TSFS and TUC. I loved her in Cheers too. RIP.
