So I was wondering your thoughts on who would win in a fight; Kirk after taking kironide, or Gary Mitchell after coming into contact with the Galactic Barrier?

If I remember, both had telekinetic abilities, but Mitchell could will matter into existence which I don’t recall was the case with the kironide power-up. However, the latter seemed to enable the user to control the motions of other people, which Mitchell seemed not able to do. So, maybe Kirk wins?

You mean Kirk could make Mitchell create something that he wanted?

(LOL, this is going to turn into the "who can lift Thor's Hammer" debate on Big Bang Theory, isn't it? - I don't watch the show except occasionally)

Kirk was in the right place with the right rocks at the right time.

Gary Mitchell was infused with the Barrier's negative energy rather than the Platonians who had been simply been ingesting some Kironide from the local vegetation! Kironide seemed to give it's users some control over other people's bodies and maybe some other feats but definitely not the incredible power to create a lavish garden from rocks or a grave hewn from the rocks in the desert! Plus Mitchell was getting stronger and stronger and could have eventually threatened the earth itself and the whole of creation even from his Delta Vega prison!

He could annihilate Kirk, but he wouldn't destroy the entire universe to do it, would he?

Depends on what stage each was at. Parmen when out of control could throw around the Enterprise in orbit. So if Kirk's Kironide kicked in fast enough he could snap Mitchell's neck while Mitchell's powers were still developing. Once Mitchell hits the stage where he can will things into existence he would be nearly invincible and Kirk on Kironide wouldn't have a chance.

Kirk beat Mitchell without the powers, so I'm going with Kirk.

Mitchell's powers are on a different level. He was on a trajectory towards Trelane or even Q. So beyond simple TK. That said, Kirk will finds away.

Especially if he teams up with Scalosian Water Spock. He'd zoom around and pinch so fast nobody will see it coming. :vulcan:

You've been asked, not once but three times (at least), not to bump your own threads. I can't fathom why you keep choosing to ignore our directions, but this time it'll cost you a formal warning for spamming.

    Closing.
