King of the Hill 5/4/08 Cops and Robert

Greetings Propaniacs. Another week has come full circle on us, and once again I barely made it through. But I can always start the week off on a good note with a fresh King of the Hill episode.

It looks like after last weeks activities, Hank is living on the wrong side of the law, and Bobby is dealing with a misunderstanding at school.

Bobby has to work as a deputy for the school's police officer after he is framed for throwing a soda can. Meanwhile, Hank accidentally takes the wallet of a man he thought stole his own wallet, however when he tries to return the wallet the man does not take it too well.

Well Hank, you could go on the run, but you can't use Rusty Shackelford as your alias this time.

I really liked this episode, it had three count 'em three good ideas that all combined nicely at the end. I particularly loved the idea of Hank becoming an accidental criminal then further terrorizing his victim by accident.

I agree, it was a great episode, one of the best of the season. I was a bit worried about this season since a lot of the episodes were pretty average early on, but we've been getting some good ones lately.

Good episode..though I think Dale's story should have been the A-plot just because he looked so funny in that get-up.

Also I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Hank's "victim"..I think He has his own Frank Grimes now.:)

I had to go back and watch it again online. But man, what a very well put together episode. I don't think it lagged at all. It was great how every time Hank called Barry to try and give his wallet back it ended up sounding like a threat, and how Dale's panuch hung over his Bazooms shorts. And I"m loving what they're doing with Fred Willard, they're even drawing him to look like Fred Willard.

"Bobby, Officer Brown may be a disgraced police officer who tampered with evidence and was taken off the beat and given this nothing job, but he's still a man."

"I think it's time to re-open the fanny pack discussion."
"No."

"Drop the bat!" Oh thank god, I didn't have my gun."

I can't believe my girlfriend didn't get this job because of you. She's a much better waitress, and has a very expensive body."

"Look what I'm trying to say is, I'm sorry."
"Are you pressing charges?"
"Hell yeah."

"What do you want?"
Dale hands him a slip of paper
"It just says money."
"And we'll accept nothing less."

With the Simpsons, FG and AD on, it is a delight to watch a show without endless self-refs, and wherein one plot doesn't lead into another that is wholly unrelated to the first. Thanks to my DVR, I saw this only a few hours after last week's excellent ep

Who would have thought that solid storytelling would make such a difference.

I liked this episode a lot too. All three storylines were entertaining.

Hank made a mistake when he took the guys wallet but he made things worse with his bizarre phone messages where he was pissed at the guy for not answering him.
