Upping the sensitivity is an absolute must.
Yeah, the game feels squishy on the default settings - response time feels ever so slightly delayed.
Some of it feels like it was deliberate: reloading takes an eternity, movement has noticeable acceleration and deceleration, etc. Some of it is nice and seems like it may slow the pace of progression down - especially combined with the cover mechanic (which I quite like).
The rest of the sponginess feels like it's a necessity, simply because the system is rendering such a complicated frame. (the game renders natively at 720p, which is surprising).
But I think I'd sacrifice all of that for a straight port of Call of Duty controls and "quickness".
