Kids in the Hall member in Star Trek II?

Specifically, Bruce McColloch of the Canadian comedy group, as the cadet who says "Sir, the mains are back online!" after Spock's sacrifice towards the end of the film.

It really looks and sounds like him, but I can't find any real confirmation that it is him-IMDB for instance, has no credit either on his page or on Star Trek II. I'm not alone in this speculation, but I can't find anything solid on it.

Scott Thompson is the only KITH alum to ever appear in Trek.

 

IIRC, the cadet that says "Sir, the mains are back online!" is Nicholas Guest, Christopher Guest's younger brother.

 

Nicole de Boer was also a Kids in the Hall alum. She played Laura, girlfriend of Bobby Terrance. (Who was played by Bruce McCulloch.)

It's funny because honestly all of those guys seem like they'd be fantastic in Star Trek parts (except maybe Bruce), especially as easily-offended aliens or uptight junior Starfleet officers.
