Kathryn Janeway - No.20 in the 25 women who shook Sci-Fi!

^ & ^^ If either of you guys is looking for a topic for a master's thesis, I think you've found one. I can see it now: "Feminist Themes in Roger Vadim's Barbarella." The thing would practically write itself, and all you'd have to do is practice keeping a straight face when you present your thesis.

No problem keeping a straight face while writing it--well, as straight as I ever keep my face anyway. In fact, Nichelle Nichols said she considered wearing that micro mini skirt for her part as Uhura an act of woman’s lib. I can see that. It sure gave her power over me.

There used to be a show called Action. Jay Moore as a Film producer. In it he's making a movie and the starlet takes off her top for the frontal nudity scene and he cringes. Recoils. Hides. The notorious Peter Dragon did not like her boobies at all and then has this wonderful coxical rant about Jane Fonda's naked breasts in Barbarella changing the nature of film and the universe.

It's quite intense.
