Radio Times reports that K9 co-creator Bob Baker has died.

In addition to co-writing The Invisible Enemy with the late Dave Martin, they wrote The Claws of Axos, The Mutants, The Three Doctors, The Sontaran Experiment, The Hand of Fear, The Invisible Enemy, Underworld, and The Armageddon Factor. He also wrote Nightmare of Eden on his own.

I've always loved most of his stories to varying degrees (with the exception of Underworld, the one Leela dud). Yes, including The Invisible Enemy and yes, because of childhood nostalgia.

Rest in peace, Bob. Thank you for the adventures!

Maybe not the best writer. But, he gave us K9. And that's the greatest legacy anyone could have hoped for.

Ironically, so has Clifford Rose, who was the villain in K9's last regular story.
Bob Baker also wrote the Wallace and Gromit shorts, so two memorable dogs.
