I just checked the trivia and this is the longest Doctor Who-related season in terms of number of episodes that we've seen since Peter Davison's first year way back in 1982.
The series has been airing in parts of Europe since January, and is scheduled to debut in the UK on Disney XD this Saturday a couple of hours before Doctor Who's The Eleventh Hour.
