Kórinthos-Class...

Atolm

Commodore
Commodore
Another filler ship...this one between the Macedon, and Heraklion-Classes in terms of evolution.
Warp-1-1.5 at best, I would think.

I feel like this design would work much better with the sphere moved to connect at the top on the underside of the panel/plate/fins, with the torpedo launcher (or whatever) on top. Right now the sphere just looks kind of arbitrarily placed on there. Bringing something from those fin things back to the rest of the ship would also help bring it all together. Adding that gold color onto sections of the pylons or additional fins that continue on the other side of the nacelles, etc.

Interesting as always though, and I like the aesthetic you've managed to create with the last few of these you've posted. Familiar and evolutionary but still distinct.

I like where this design is going. The spherical hull does seem to be perched on top instead of being integrated- I usually look at form following function in designs and to me it looks like it is detachable (like the Trade Federation Core Ships in SW-E2). That would be a neat twist and also give this ship class a neat feature. Many things can be learned better on the surface that with orbital sensor readings and shuttles/runabouts can only carry so much.
If not detachable, how about dropping it lower to the centerline and integrating the photorp launcher to balance the bridge extension.
It is nice to see recognizable Federation technology break away from the constant rearranging of saucer/secondary hull/warp nacelles so common these days...

Thanks mates!
The sphere is not "just" there...but actually does still detach as Richard suggests, from the stardrive, and is designed to make planet-fall if needed. If you look at the details on these three PreTOS ships, they show that the spheres have heat shields on their bottoms (hence the darker grey-ish brown colour scheme).
I have some other ideas, to lead-up to the Daedalus, or at least her sister classes.

Atolm - question: Why does the primary hull have a registry of UESPA-500-A, the nacelles have UESPA-500-B and the secondary hull have simply UESPA-500?

[Khan]Verry good, Mr Atolm. Now tell me, does it have ample seating.. And does it feature Rich Korinthian Leather?[/Khan] ;)

Its really supposed to have just A and B, but I ran out of space on the hull for "B" Not a huge issue imo, but nevertheless it is an error on my part due to spacing...the "stardrive" is the "B" section. Hope that helps some.

Maybe they could all work separately.
you are partially correct...see the above reply :D
And thanks for the attempt of an explanation. :)
