The difference here is that the Beebs will be with us forever. He's going to be the Liberace of pop when he's 50. And he'll still have the same devoted haters who have wasted their lives hating on him and feeding the Beeb machine with their anti-Beeb hype. Only now it will be glam.. and hipsters will be buying up early era purple Bieber merch ironically.

This disturbing story needs music.

Without even listening I know I prefer Joan Jett's version.

Put yourself in Bieber's shoes, sure, you are world famous and getting to do something you love, but you're also being forced to live your life a certain way, conform to a manner prescribed by your managers at the dictation of PR gurus and sponsors. The poor guy is probably unable to go out for a walk around his town/city, without encountering screaming fans or people who hate him.

On the other hand he's dating Selena Gomez so...

Wow. That's disturbing, to say the least. I mean, I don't especially like the guy (no surprise since I am waaaay outside the target audience) but that's just wrong. Good to hear they revealed it in time.

I don't think they would've succeeded anyway. The guy's probably got 50 bodyguards, not to mention some 50,000 screaming teenaged girls who would gladly take a bullet for him.
