[worf] Those who would rob convenience stores are without honor. [/worf] :klingon:

though it is kinda funny both clerks knew what it was...

I say hunt them down and show them how to really use a Bat'leth. To use one in such a manner they do not deserve to be associated with Star Trek fandom at all. It's these kind of folks who give the rest of us a bad name.

Re: Bat'leth robbery

I'm surprised that this has not happened before. The criminal would have scored extra points if he was in full Klingon gear though.

Re: Bat'leth robbery

What the hell is it with people getting trouble with the law using Klingon weapons. I remember when I was living in the UK seeing a story on the BBC about some guy living in a council estate getting in trouble using some sort of Klingon blade. Turns out he also has a very large sharp Bat'leth in his flat which also had to be confiscated.

Judging by the released image from the surveillance cam (seen here), it wasn't the traditional design we are all familiar with. Looks a lot more more like the Sword of Khaless, the first Bat'leth.:klingon:

The sad part is, I saw a text-only article about this in the paper this morning, and my first thought was, "Was he using a d'k tagh, a bat'leth, or a mek'leth?"

I read about this in the paper today. Though they did not actually say "bat'leth." They said "crescent shaped sword used by the Klingons in Star Trek." I naturally assumed they were referring to a bat'leth.

Interesting that the store clerks seemed to recognize it as a bat'leth. A Trek fan robbing Trek fans.

Wouldn't it be amsuing if the robber and the clerks were in fact posters on this forum who regularly argue with each other?
