Just played Batman: Arkham Asylum for the 1st time...

All I have to say is when is THAT movie comming out???

Yeah yeah, I know. Nolan has made a masterpiece. Blah blah blah. So why even try to top it? Many Nolan fans seem to agree that the guy should just walk away and close out the Nolanverse. So now that we have our "legitamate" bat movies out of the way, let's have the pendulum swing the other way and have some fun. My favorite level of the game is when Scarecrow gases Batman and he is in a nightmarish environment. Imagine that being on the big screen. And there shouldn't be any concerns about it being compared to the Nolan films because the majority of Nolan fans might just pass on it.

It might not win awards, it might not get unanimous praise. But you have to admit that it would be high on the wow factor. And the bat suit in the game is way cooler than than any live action bat suit I've ever seen and could work in a real live setting.

Anyone agree?

I'm working my way through it right now and this thing really feels like it was a labor of love. I don't know the full story behind it but this is how you do a licensed product.

I actually found myself pumping my fist when (not to give too much away) one of his utility devices is delivered.

It really was a fantastic game, though. I wish I'd gotten the PS3 version instead of the Xbox version.
