They always mention Jumja sticks on DS9, but do they ever describe them? Although I obviously have no idea how they taste, I still feel like I want one when I see it on screen. Does anyone have any idea as how they are described as tasting?

Nana Visitor said at the Orlando Vulkon a couple of weeks ago that they were some kind of Asian snack, not just made for the show. I wonder where they can be found. Anyway, she said they were delicious.

They were so big, I figured they had to have been made by Production. I never thought they'd be real treats.

They were supposedly made from the sap of the jumja tree and had a lot of vitamin C.

So I can imagine they tasted something like molasses with a citrus-y flavor.

We do have an analog of that: maple syrup is made from sugar maple tree sap, and maple candy is awesome.
