Went to see this today with a buddy as I was down visiting my folks for the holiday. He'd already seen Star Wars and didn't want to see it again, so we went to this.
It was pretty good, I think the last one was better because I think the playing with the tropes of video games was better done there, but here there's some fun stuff in it and Dwayne Johnson does a good job of acting as Danny DeVito (as does an Asian actress who's in the movie later who DeVito's character takes control of) and Kevin Hart does good with a Danny Glover impersonation.
Karen Gillan? Good lord, she needs to be in more things.
But the movie was a fun romp and there were some nice surprises in it in how they get everyone playing/involved and how they use the game tropes.
