It actually is something that has happened and was vaguely mentioned in one of my stories, but no details given. Now I have an opportunity to finally write it down

I need a volunteer to proofread my story. I need someone who never read any of my Cardassian stories, or very little, as I need to test if this story makes sense to someone who doesn't know my characters and their histories.

So all you'd have to do is to say if it makes sense and the message is clear, or it feels like too much information is missing.

It's less than 3000 words.

It's up to the contest runner to make the decision. Right now you're required to post a link to the story in this thread. No one said anything about where the link is supposed to go.

Did I miss something, Wasn't I supposed to write about captain of the Io?

Or was there a specific captain?

I thought I could just make up my own.
